Safety Initiative – See Something – Say Something

In construction, most injuries and property damage don’t happen out of nowhere. There are almost always warning signs, small “close calls” or near misses that go unreported. Every time someone catches one of those moments and reports it, we get a chance to fix the issue before someone gets hurt.

That’s why near miss and good catch reporting is such an important part of our safety culture. A near miss is when something almost causes an injury or damage, and a good catch is when someone identifies and eliminates a hazard before it has a chance to cause harm. Both are valuable learning opportunities that help us make our jobsites safer for everyone.

Remember, safety isn’t about blame, it’s about prevention. The more we report, the more we learn, and the fewer injuries we’ll see.
