From September 14–18, 2026, Stueve Construction is proud to recognize National Construction Appreciation Week—a time dedicated to celebrating the skilled, hardworking men and women whose work helps build the infrastructure, businesses, facilities, and communities that keep America moving.
National Construction Appreciation Week was established by I Build America in 2018 to recognize the people who work throughout the construction industry and to encourage greater appreciation for the careers, skills, and dedication behind the structures we depend upon every day. The observance is held during the third week of September each year.
At Stueve Construction, this week has special meaning.
For us, construction is not simply about concrete, steel, equipment, and buildings. Construction is about people.
It is about the skilled craftspeople who arrive at a jobsite every morning ready to work. It is about project managers coordinating hundreds of details. It is about engineers developing solutions before construction begins. It is about equipment operators, welders, carpenters, concrete crews, laborers, supervisors, and countless others working together toward one common objective.
Most importantly, it is about doing the job safely, correctly, and with pride.

More Than 1,500 Fertilizer and Agribusiness Facilities
Since 1958, Stueve Construction has specialized in designing and building facilities for the fertilizer and agribusiness industries.
Over the decades, our teams have completed more than 1,500 fertilizer and agribusiness facilities, including dry fertilizer storage buildings, blending facilities, liquid fertilizer facilities, agricultural chemical facilities, terminals, receiving systems, loadout systems, and other specialized agricultural infrastructure.
Behind every one of those facilities are construction professionals who brought the project to life.
Some of those buildings have been serving agricultural businesses for decades. They continue to store, blend, receive, and distribute fertilizer that ultimately helps farmers produce crops and feed communities.
That is something worth celebrating.

National Construction Appreciation Week recognizes how construction workers contribute to infrastructure, transportation, manufacturing, commerce, and communities across the country.
In agricultural construction, that impact extends directly into America’s food production system.
A modern fertilizer facility allows agricultural retailers and cooperatives to receive products efficiently, store larger quantities of crop nutrients, blend fertilizer accurately, and load trucks quickly during critical planting seasons.
The buildings our teams construct help agribusinesses serve the farmers who depend upon them.
When one of our crews finishes a fertilizer facility, they are not simply completing another construction project.
They are helping build infrastructure that supports American agriculture.
